Integrating voltage dividers into Megadrum case

Hi, first of all thanks Dmitri for sharing your excellent work! (another donation sent in addition to the one included with buying Synthex' kit, least I can do)

I've been going over all the different aspects of the case I'll be building to put my Megadrum in and was wondering if it would be overkill to include voltage dividers for many of the inputs in my build for it to be as flexible as possible (since "hot" pads is a side effect of Megadrum being an all-encompassing module unlike plug-and-play modules targeted for specific pads).
I'd much rather put a little extra work into the module than have to make ugly per-input cables later since my kit is and will be a mix of brands, and my mindset as a programmer is to want things to be as dynamic as possible by default. It would also make designing the case a bit more interesting.

Going by the various threads on the forum 100K pots or a 47K resistor in addition to a lower-resistance pot seems to be the usual approach for hot pads, would going with small 100K pots be a good solution? Or maybe different approaches for different inputs? Or is the whole idea a bit excessive? My electrical knowledge is limited (working on improving that) and I have yet to even build/test my Megadrum so any input from those with experience would be appreciated (even mocking laughs).

First of all, thanks for the donation!

A voltage divider pot should not be more than 47k.
From my point of view, if a pad doesn't have a built-in pot (as Ymaha's do), then making a cable with a built in voltage divider is more elegant way than squeezing everything into an enclosure.
In fact, a voltage divider may not be needed at all. Putting a 10-100k resistor in series with a piezo might be enough since it will create a voltage divider with a input resistor in MegaDrum.
