Led blink once and LCD with a row of squares : help me

Now I see that I inverted X1 with X2 !!!
I have to change them and after I will retry...

Now I inverted them...windows sees "Megadrum USB", now in the USB list I see "Periferica USB compisita", I think in english "USB composite" is it right?

But I don't see USB input from
Megadrum Config Tool..

With Linux it is right, instead with Windows doesn't work.

Now I ask, with hydrogen, which is the right drumkit to load?

hello tatankam I have got same problem. Led is bilink once and there's nothing on LCD. and When I connect USB,I see that windows said:
"USB not recognized"

what Must I do? Can you help me?

1) check that LCD is correctly connected (I Linked reverse the LCD flat...)
2) check that X1 and X2 are right : (I inverted them so it didn't work...)


But you have to see the light of LCD, if it isn't could be that LCD is not well connected to the mainboard by the flat.

I put a potansiometer between lcd's vcc,vss and vee pins and did constrast setting lcd but it has just squares. and when I push the button it shows nothing and when I pull the button squares are coming back.. ( why it can be? (I'm sorry for my english)

The problem is the same that I had.

I had connected the LCD to the mainboard on inverted sense.

Check the connection from LCD to the mainboard.

That was my problem of a row of squares on my case.

You might try cleaning all of your solder joints on the LCD with some isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush. Sometimes a small piece of solder between the joints can cause problems.
