Megadrum+SD2 with roland TD-20 drum-set

Hi everybody,
when I read this viewtopic.php?f=4&t=761&start=40
it seems to me, that for this moment it is not possible to substitute the Megadrum+SD2 for the TD-20 soundmodul to use it with a standard TD-20 Drum-Set. Not whith a satisfactory result at least.
Am I right? If so, how long will the development take to enable it?

MegaDrum is a 'Do-It-Yourself' project, and therefore requires a little bit of work on the part of the user to achieve the best results. If you want plug&play, go ahead and shell out for the TD-20. But if you're willing to invest some time tweaking your kit, the MegaDrum works just fine. Everything is a compromise, but price/performance wise you'll have a hard time beating the value of the MegaDrum.
