Mix output for Megadrums

Postby Cladinshadows » Thu Mar 13, 2008 1:46 pm

I was wondering if there's a way to connect either a mono or stereo output ( 6,3mm jack ) to the Megadrums so we could hook it up to a mixer ( P.A. ) or some type of amp instead of having to use the computer sound card. If not , maybe that could be something to look into for a new PCB design.
Maybe also a AUX input . That would be nice to play along with drum backing tracks.

Megadrum is not a sound module. It doesn't produce sounds. It is only trigger to MIDI converter, so a jack out is useless, same as the aux input. You need a computer.

As elrules said, MegaDrum is not a sound module. It is only used to trigger midi. Think of it as a midi keyboard but instead of it being for a piano, it's for the drums. It is the equivalent as using an electronic keyboard for drum sounds. If you don't know what midi is, I suggest you read through some parts of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midi
