Hello,

After a long time at last i have started and taking my first step towards making MD and ordered the components. just wanted to confirm if what ever what i have ordered asked for from stores and online shopees is correct or can be used.

I will list out things that i couldnt get, if anyone can plz let me know if i can use anything instead of this ....

Capacitor
100nF
470nF

Diodes
Bat85

Resistors
33ohm

Crystal
12mhz is not available the one that is, is 11.592 or something.
also 16mhz is not but i can ask the shopkeeper he can get this one for me

Can anyone confirm if this are the same.
Sockets

8X2 http://www.onlinetps.com/shop/index.php ... cts_id=548
20X2 http://www.onlinetps.com/shop/index.php ... cts_id=549

If i am not wrong i can avoid and ignore those DIN5 jacks is it correct.

so looking at the above list am i good to go and start making MD, if there are any substitutes for the above mentioned things i will check it if they are available i would complete my MD tomorrow and day after tomorrow.

if not then i would have to order from farnell or rapid if they ship to india coz i havent got any site or shop in india that can ship this mentioned things.

*Also i have ordered for Atmega32A is it ok, i have been reading the page which says that we need protected bootloader or something(thing goes as a bouncer for me, didnt really understand it)*

Hello. Good luck with your build. You can very easily find all the missing parts on www.ebay.com Atmega32 is not suitable if you want to be able to use the newer firmwares (which I strongly suggest you do). For that reason, you have to buy the Atmega664 or Atmega1284 directly from Dmitri. Send him a pm.
Going on means going far. Going far means returning...
