MegaDrum with USB Adapter

Hi everybody,

is it possible to run the MegaDrum Modul with this adapter?

I'd like to use MD as a trigger-modul and connect it to my TD-12 (Roland) with MIDI. So I don't want to use a computer. But I think the MD does not work without USB-connection? Correct?

It will work just fine provided this power adapter gives true regulated 5V which it claims it does.
