I must have mixed up something. Looked up to PDX8 manual and suddenly appears, that rim piezo is placed not at the rim (as I thought), but little further at the bottom of pad shell. Sorry for confusion - too much of soldering fumes;)

estregan, as I said before, there is no magic here. If a signal is too strong I cannot do anything about it in firmware. The only way around it is to weaken the signal either electrically with a voltage divider or mechanically as slayer666 did. Do you see any other way?

Sorry if I'm being stubborn here, but I really just want to make it work like the 22 input version I did earlier using 4051 ICs. Maybe I'll use 74hc4851 as suggested by synthex and see how it works.

You can always try just one pad and see how it works with both triggermodules. If it works well, great.
If not, change it back to the previous state.
