chanel assignement

Hello everyone
I've an ARM megadrum 32ch

When i turn the right button, on this selection :
<Ch01 kick>
chanel 10

If I change the chanel number, what it supposed to do ??

It's a MIDI channel as stated in http://www.megadrum.info/content/pads-settings
Or is the question in fact 'What are MIDI channels for'?

in fact, i'm a bit ... lost...

Ha, Dimitri ! megadrum works well, I think, it was the cause of cubase, when i tried addictive drums (the same midi input on two software, or maybe!)

In Windows you cannot use one MIDI port by more than one application at a time. This is why MegaDrum presents two MIDI ports - one for sound sampling app like Cubase and another for control/configuration by MegaDrum Manager - both of which are being used at the same time.
