Combining megadrum with Roland TD Modules

Postby Piezo » Sun Feb 03, 2013 5:10 pm

Hi there,

Haven't been around for quite a while due to privat issues. I have a question concerning combining megadrum with Roland TD modules.

As so far I still haven't succeeded in getting my drum to work with megadrum (however with a lot of TD modules), I'm planning to buy a Roland TD 6V. Is there a way to maybe combine those to interfaces in the way that maybe the TD 6V picks up the piezo signals (which it does quite well) and megadrum interprets it further? So that I would get positional sensing for instance.

Do you get what I mean?

Thanks in advance

If I may ask, what drum are you referring to when you say you cannot get it working with megadrum? Also, is your megadrum positional sensing capable?

No, that won't work. Plug your pads into the megadrum and then get the correct settings into megadrum. It will take some work, and feel free to ask questions on those settings, and all shall be well in the world.

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.
