Look at http://www.hebeiltd.com.cn/lcm.datasheet/ATM1602B.pdf . You can see pinout there. Notice that pins 15 and 16 are next to pin 1 rather then to pin 14.

yes I have already read its datashet and connected cables according to datasheet. But still lcd doesnt display.
