Hi Angr77

Yes you were correct, I had no midi devices connected to the Megadrum, I only use the USB plug. I have disabled both midi thru check boxes and I can connect to my Megadrum now, thanks a lot.

However, when I save to slot it still times out at 87%, even though it appears to actually save the config to slot. So I guess that is more of an irritation than a problem.

I notice now with Midi thru disabled I can once again send individual pads through one at a time without timeouts, thank you for your help.

I need to RTFM properly, so sorry for my outlandish problems ;)

So far no luck with my LCD. I asked another forum that mainly deals with these LCDs and they think one of the auxilary controllers have failed on my LCD. So I need to find another one somewhere. Once that is done I can check my speeds properly.

Hi!
Great to hear about the midi thru stuff!

I am trying to recall my problems on my 1284 ATMega board (I have changed to a ARM based board a year ago)...I know I could get such errors...and I did exactly as you did...saved all drums separately when working with it. But these problems disappeared in the MDM version after 20121123. Dmitri added some error checking functionality at that stage.

I do recall that using an external powered USB hub also made magic to these kind of problems + running the MD at Midi + USB speed.

Hope you get the LCD fixed! I saw your MD in the gallery...Looking good!

Thanks man! I am quite proud of the painting I did, haha.

And I finally found an online store selling cheap compatible LCDs. Hoping to have it this week. Then finally I can progress.

Thanks again
