MIDI THRU? How Does It Work?

Hey Dmitri,

I just received my MD today.
It's Taking a bit of a time to get familiar with, but i didn't had major issues with it for the moment.
The Big problem is I don't know How midi thru works.
I'm trying to get the Midi Signal from a ROLAND SPD-SX to go thru the USB og the Megadrum.
Is this possible

Both ROLAND SPD-SX and MegaDrum can be connected to a PC via USB at the same time so you don't really need MIDI thru.
If you still want to chain them via MIDI then:
1. If you connect "ROLAND SPD-SX MIDI Out" -> "MegaDrum MIDI In" - enable MIDI Thru in MegaDrum
2. If you connect "MegaDrum MIDI Out" -> "ROLAND SPD-SX MIDI In" - enable MIDI Thru in ROLAND SPD-SX

Hum...?! I tried what you said but It didn't worked.
The aim is to only have one Usb device connected (the Megadrum).
Instead of having both devices connected to a hub.

I also have another question, I really don't have time to configure the megadrum,
I spent the whole night trying to configure it without real success.
Does anyone knows, or have *.syx files for configuring:

SPDSX
RT-10S
CY12-C crash
CY-14C crash
KD8
PD-125XS

If you know where I could find to parameters, it would be sunday on monday .

The aim is to only have one Usb device connected (the Megadrum).
Instead of having both devices connected to a hub.

You'd really better have both devices connected to a PC directly. Connecting MIDI devices in a chain adds latency.
If you still want to connect them in a chain, and it doesn't work, please describe your setup and what you did in more details.
