I can only suspect that you did not make the cymbal right, i.e. you did not add a 10k resistor on the edge switch.

I have checked many times. Can I use a bigger resistor?

1. What is the resistance between ring and sleeve when none of the switches pressed?
2. What is the resistance between ring and sleeve when the edge switch is pressed?
3. What is the resistance between ring and sleeve when the bell switch is pressed?
