How to wire a push button on a switch input?

Postby Rovalo » Thu Feb 09, 2017 10:02 pm

I searched but the forum for an answer but I could not find it, sorry if this is another topic about the same question...

From what I understand MD detects a voltage from a piezo between an input and ground. Since a switch does not produce a voltage like a piezo, I imagine something more complicated is needed to connect only a simple push button to an input and have it detect a push on the button.

Can someone advice me with a wiring diagram? Thanks in advance.
Kind regards, Rob.

I think I found the answer in a topic I came across viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2989&start=10

The switch indeed requires a voltage, coming from the piezo. So my conclusion is that what I was looking for is simply not possible.
Kind regards, Rob.

What were you actually looking for which is not possible?
