Site mentions 'non contact drum sensor' - any opinions on what this means and if it is any good?
Seen some reviews/pages that mention non standard connectors (4pin screw in, and usb?) - anyone know if it as simple as changing the plugs to work with megadrum?

I think, given the price, that these would be good old fashioned piezo based, and so would work with MD.
I would take a look at. Drumtec. And see about getting individual pads.
