Hi-hat pedal settings - help needed

My hall effect sensor hi-hat is showing up correctly in the MDM VU meter. High and low values are set as described in the documentation but there's no change in sound from open to closed. I'm using Drummic'a in standalone mode. Everything else is working OK. AFAIK DrumMic'a does not support CC4. What value should I enter for 'CC Number' in MDM pedal settings?

Drummic'a uses General Midi values, so various hi-hat sounds are available, which all play fine via the virtual midi keyboard inside Kontakt but I'm failing to trigger anything other than the closed sound I've assigned to input#2.

If Drummic'a doesn't support CC04 for pedal positions then you have to assign Notes in Pedal->Notes for all open/closed/intermediate positions matching sounds for these positions in Drummic'a.
