Schematics for KiCad

Postby zip1 » Wed Nov 28, 2007 1:39 pm

I think I finally have the basic schematics done using KiCad instead of dip trace

It does not have the mega 8 schematics and only the pic18f2550 USB board

I did not get the change in this yet.
In PIC18F2550 USB board: R4 - from 470 to 1k

KiCad is an open source editor for Windows and Linux http://www.lis.inpg.fr/realise_au_lis/kicad/

I started to and did the main board but I delete it since I didn't have all of my order list done. I also did the net list and the majority of the parts have foot prints. The main problem with the PCB part is that is dumps all the pad groups in one big pile and you have to seperate out the groups of pads. But the traces appear to be there.

The other problem I had is there in no inline connector larger then 10, so I may have to either design one or adjust the schematics for that.
