Hi to all.
some more questions here but first i want to thanks japi , without his help i would never buy the kit from synthex, and of course to synthex and dmitri, without them, it would never exist such kit and would'nt found a new friend such as japi (and all of you to), and to all of you that lose time reading my questions so thanks to all of you.

The kit its on the mail so it should be here in a couple of weeks, but as i like to be prepare here are some questions.

ok question number one: just notice that the board its doble side, i never solder one of those, so... do i have to solder both sides?, how should i solder the IC? theres a tutorial somewhere that you recomend?.

question number two: the idea was to make all my edrum in the DIY way so i was planing to build the drumkit, but what way should i take, mesh heads or practice pad with the foam rubber and stuff.
For what i know (wich is little and close to nothing) mesh heads feels better and its more silent, and in my case much easy to make, but don't know how to make it a 2 zone for the snare; on the other hand i don't know nothing of the practice pad method so
share your wisdom with me, tell me your experiences with these methods.
ok thats all.
Thanks for the help and sorry for my bad english and the long reading.

AFAIK. you solder only in one side. The IC is NOT soldered, what you solder to the board is the IC SOCKET. As for directions, just try to match the pin1 on all components (the pin with a square). Don't rush, if you have doubts just ask here.

Hi japi, of course sockets for the ic, but i was wandering how to solder the sokcets if i have to solder both side. Anyway i just research over the internet and found that the pads goes through the pcb, so of course i should solder one side.

As for my question number two i have a couple of this (don't understand how to post pics, so here is a link wich resembles what i have).
http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar/MLA ... correa-_JM

I could easily turn them into mesh haeds, and if i want to expand my drumkit they hare also quite cheap, less than 15 dolars heach, and comes in many sizes,
but i want to know the experience of someone with the mesh heads, i play in a remo practice pad but it dont feels right, if you know what i mean, need some one to tell me if this feels right, if you know what i mean.

Thanks to all

I see. AFAIK, most people turn the practice pads into triggers but I didn't found the remo pads here in Arg.

Let me know how you go with the "Murga" Snares

hi japi, hows work? seems you are quite busy.
i didn't play in a kit like that, it was just a remo pad (stand alone), the one you just put in your lap.

Ok like no one seems to answer about the mesh heads, i will just give it a try in one of the "murga" snares i have to see how it works on bounce, durability and on the loudness side.
I will use this tutorial i found, if someone finds one better please tell me

thanks and sorry my bad english
