About latency option in the latest firmware

Postby dmitri » Tue Dec 18, 2007 8:20 pm

Quick note about the "Latency" option in the latest firmware. It is very dependent on CPU speed. Even though you can set it between 1 and 10 ms, in reality it won't make any difference below certain level for a given MCU frequency. For 16MHz it is around 2 ms. Also, the lower this setting is, the less precisely MegaDrum will measure pad hit level.

Is it possible to have overclocked versions of 20MHz for Atmega32 and 24MHz for Atmega324P ?
Of course, with a warning against radioactivity, explosions and other adverse effects on devices and health ! ;)

Honestly, can't do this! I can be sued for posting them without warning.
