DIY Triggertube and Rototoms?

Hey, I'm going to buy my MegaDrum soon...but I'm wondering if there is any way to make DIY-triggertubes and trigger-rototoms? Any ideas?
Don't know how to connect piezos to playsit tubes für the triggertubes...oder how to make rototoms with piezos not looking like crap...

Well I posted a trigger design here somewhere in the forum.
The pipes were made of pvc - well check out my post.
One issue though is the thickness of the pvc, which always required a good whack to trigger the piezo.
Having thoroughly explored this I must say tube triggers are difficult to use.
Not to mention mounting on a rack lol.
