i am very enthusiastic abut this site i hope it helps pve the road to the future of Edrumming
i admit im a newbie and im new to much of this
with that said i have an idea and was wondering if any one can give me any feedback

first of all i whnt to state that im looking for a way around buying a lousy drum module with too much bells and whistles im not a big fan of this market their is no diversuty in the market
it's just a couple of brands with a monopoly chokehold on the market.

foe what it is a basic cpu motherboard sound processing ex: (muse research)
althugh i have no knowledge of pcb baords i would much rather innest my time and money on a produt that i dirrectly influence my own satisfaction ( think mechanics)

but i as if we can see pictures and video (youtube) a completed megadrum (process of building it and, clips of it in action

heres my newbie question
where and how do i order a magadrum
can anyone/place/group/bussiness build it for me
links???
can it be used as a satnd alone drum module with no need to plug into a computer

if not how do i go about making it function similar to a receptor
(uniwire technology) with a built in hard drive like for example using any ipods hard drive (microhard drive) ny iither breaking one for the hard drive or some how using the whole thing maybe even its lcd display and menu control functions

is this possible because i rather drop a frand on learning how to do this rather than buying
the new extreme ROLAND TD-5000 FROM PLANET X with built in cat meow synth's

any feddback would be apreciated
thank you

here this link might help visualize the ipod idea
(think receptor) but more affordable practical and in this case solely for edrums

and maybe the theddrum5 will be something like it?
i dont wana wait to find out

and one more thing the receptor has a ram card ( a 2 gigs ram card sells for = 40 dolars at fry's) i dont knoe a thing about procesors or uniwire technology and im sure if you amd a procesor and a RAM card or two plus some uniwire tachnology and some built in softeare
anything is possible

if could afford to break open a ddrum4 a td-10 a tmc6 a alesis trigger i/o and a receptor
to figure out how they work and put them all together
into one practical and affordable(moneys worth) prouct
i would
but i cant

so thats were i am
if anything ima go pich the idea to alesis see if they hire me
hahaha

No, you need a computer/sampler/midi device. It's only a Trigger.
