Yamaha DTXtreme IIs Kit to set up. Help !!!

Hi,

I am trying to set up my Drumkit with both megadrum manager and the box itself, but I cant get nothing good.
I would like help !!!

First, to set the 3 way pads to work propely (TP 120 SD / TP 100 / PCY 150s)
Second, to set the Hihat pedal.
Third, to set crostalk, 'cause when I it a drum, all drums gives signal !

So, I pluged only Kick and snare to try setting up those two before going further.

If you already set up this kind of pads, please give me your tips !!!

Did you configure any of the pads/cymbals?
Did you use http://www.megadrum.info/content/settin ... one-cymbal as a guide for setting it up?
What settings did you end up with?
What is wrong with the pad/cymbal with these settings?

Thanks for all replies I have just seen !

I have to try all those solutions before giving more information.
I will especially try the PCY 150 Settings. The standard procedure for Snare didn't work at all, and I get all three zones giving a rim note. I will try it again anyway.

Hi again.

So, I did try all solutions you given me, and none works.

On the last post, u can see the ride parameters, that are provided by angr77, and that should work.
As u can seen, what I get isn't the expected. I hit the bell, the bow, and the edge one time

And so here is the snare parameters I did by myself few days ago, and the results are almost the same than the ride today.
I hit the head, the rim1 and rim 2 two times.

Also, I did do the dmiti's provided procedure to set the bells and edges.

I spend 10 hours to make it to work, before asking help.
I should have found solutions by less than this time.

So, I suppose there is a problem in the module itself. I tryed many things, but none gave the expected results.

I'm presuming you're trying to configure PCY-150s in the Snare jack.
Forget about MDM for now and do what I suggested in my previous post, i.e. follow http://www.megadrum.info/content/settin ... one-cymbal

What settings did you end up with? (Threshold and BThreshold on the SnareR input in particular)

No, the ride is in the ride jack, and the snare in the snare jack. But I'll put only the ride jack to see whet happen.

You ask me to do everything on the module itself, isnt it ?
Threshold and BTreshold is the parameter you can find it MDM as well, no ?

I go on the studio to do the procedure again, and I tell u the results right after.
