Hi there.

I do read all your replies and have been through a large amount of the forum but just a little confused as in one post it says only you can programme the chips then you say we have to but don't explain how to go about it at all.

If I was to put it all together and run the megadrum firmware would this work ?

Many thanks

Marc

Can you point to my posts which contradict each other?

Yes, of course, up to version 20100516 but you won't be able to run any version newer than that.

hi there, sorry for keeping on and dont mean to be rude, would it be possible to download the bootloader for the atmel and upload it myself, and the file used for the PIC.

and then i take it it would just be a case of installing the firmware for megadrum?

also is the atmega644 also a 40 pin AVR? and could i just swap them out?
also are you still able to supply the atmega644 if so please may i go for that one?
thank you again

marc

I've already replied to this question from you, here in the forum and in e-mail.

Atmega with the protected bootloader can be loaded with MegaDrum firmware using USB or standard MIDI. Did you read http://www.megadrum.info/content/programming-mcus ? Do you at all read the links I give you?
