That is not good news.

I will see if he still wants it considering that it doesn't even save to slot or accept any settings.

It is bad news that you don't sell lcds and that it will cost me the same to buy a new module as it will for you to take a look at my unit.

I know that it is not your fault that I'm experiencing issues, I'm sure you tested everything before you sent it to me. It's just frustrating that 3 lcds in a row have not worked and that I cannot get all of the settings to save to the megadrum. Perhaps I over estimated my skills, but I have had fun regardless of my problems.

Thanks for your help.

Hi. Just an idea. It seems like your MD response when it is connected in MDM.

When save/save all does not work...(e.g it stops at 96%)...I used to send/save the individual panels step by step...like the miss panel and then continue to the next panel...and the step through all drums,,,pressing send...then you will force the settings down on your MD.

Thanks Angr77

Yes that works but the problem is that it doesn't save the number of pads, it always stays on 18 when I switch it on. My drum pc has no Internet so I can't run mdm on it and every time I switch it on I have to load all the pads one at a time which is a bit frustrating.

Also what's happening is that regardless of the pad I connect to it shows 45 and 48 triggering. I don't know what is wrong. I was hoping that saving all settings to a slot would possibly help, but I can't get past that 96% issue.

Can you think of anything?

You don't need internet to run MDM.

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.

Ok. If you as a final step... do a save to slot 1...the present loaded MD config would be saved into slot 1.

Then if you boot the MD...this config would be selected if you autoload config is set to yes. (but...i think it is set to default to "no".... or did we change this in the latest firmware?

I am actually a bit interested to see if I can install a MD into my Cajon... as a black box solution.... no buttons, no LCD no nothing....:-)

I have tried but it always wants to connect to the megadrum site. How did you do it?

It times out on 96% when I click "save to slot" which is very frustrating.

Your Cajon sounds interesting :-)

In the 3rd paragraph down, the .jar.

With regards to it stopping at 96%, try to do a send or send all before you save to slot.

Edit
Sorry I see you have time out with send also.

Thank you for the .jar info, I will take a look.

As for send before saving, I will try one by one saving and then saving to slot. If I do a send all it freezes on 87% 94% or 97% depending on how many pads I have selected.
