...now I understand why no more people are using the AltSamplingAlg... :-)
It seems to create some trouble, like the one described on the current topic, and

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3160&p=31789#p31789

I'm not sure if it has or not something to do also with the New Algorithm for the HiHat Pedal as described in
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3168&start=20

For the moment I also folded back to the Original Sampling Alg...

It is very different from the standard sampling algorithm (and it was not available in Atmega at all) and will affect (positively or negatively) pretty much everything.

I'm more happy with AltSamplingAlg enabled. Without it I had big issues with kick pad (had to have high threshold and a lot of soft hits missed, very annoying) and crosstalk (a lot of pads on 6-7).

With AltSamplingAlg I have XTalk Level on 4 maximum and low thresholds on pads, but to get satisfying results with quick rolls I had to take a different approach with setting up pads, which are in my experience more dependent on Retrigger Mask (used to be 1-2, now it's 8 on most), DynLevel and DynTime. I had to slightly increase MinScan in most cases as well.
