Thanks Synthex!
Do you plan on making pcb's? If not, i can order a test run, with your approval. Of course i would then need the gerbers for your layout. Comments?

Thanks,

Kari

Been thinking about trying to etch my own board. I have all the PCB material. I don't have a laser printer though I only have an inkjet.

An inkjet printer won't do.

why do you need "all contacts switched" input jacks?

iv'e just never thought about this before.

what is it exactly?
cause i've found a REALLY good price for some PCB mounted stereo jack, but i'm sure if they're switched..

As there are a lot of people having issues with hot pads, Why don't you do a pcb with a place for a pot per input? that will be nice, and if you don't want to use pots you can connect the two (or three) pins with a simple cable.

That would be nice...

Newbie here!

I have obviously misunderstood!

The kit for all in one 2.8 is not in fact a complete kit for everything apart from the case?

Or maybe the power supply and input board are not included?

If I need to get everything to build this machine, would I need this pcb AND a power supply AND teh 2.8 kit?

Sorry to be so dumb.

Power supply is optional, only need if you don't use the USB.
PCB Inputs Jacks is optional, only used to facilitate connections.
