Yup, a bulk e-mail or pm would bring a lot more attention to this and definitely boost order count but of course that's for Dmitri to decide.

It can be considered as spam.

I think a bulk-order of 10 at a time is sufficient and reasonably comfortable to administer.

Yup, and Dmitri will only have to do this 242 times (judging from the forum member count).

Sorry! :-) My old shattered vision of the MegaDrum project is still struggling somewhat.

Count me in on a 644-20

trying to figure how much for a USA address.

right now it looks like:
4.19 (for the chip)
0 (shipping from vendor)
.71 (VAT on chip)
3 (uninsured US postage)
5 (handling/flashing)

total
12.90 pounds

did I get that right? I'm new here (I discovered the project and ordered a kit from synthex yesterday) and only just noticed that you are moving to a encrypted bootloader..

In fact, you can calculate it yourself based on this:
I use Royal Mail for postages.
To EU it will cost £2/£6 uninsured/insured.
To US it will cost £3/£7 uninsured/insured.
To Russia (and probably to other CIS countries but I will need to check it) it will cost £2/£6 uninsured/insured.
For other countries I will need to check the price individually.

It is in fact £3 handling fee for now (may change to 5 if I find it takes too much time/packaging material).
And you need to add Paypal surcharge of 5%.

Let me make it simple if it's 10 or more at a time.

Uninsured postage to EU, Russia (and maybe CIS countries):
Chip: £4.19 x 1.175 (VAT) = £4.93
Postage: £2
Handling fee: £3
Total: £9.93
Total to pay over Paypal: £9.93 x 1.05 = £10.43

Insured postage to EU, Russia (and maybe CIS countries):
Chip: £4.19 x 1.175 (VAT) = £4.93
Postage: £6
Handling fee: £3
Total: £13.93
Total to pay over Paypal: £13.93 x 1.05 = £14.63

Uninsured postage to US, Canada:
Chip: £4.19 x 1.175 (VAT) = £4.93
Postage: £3
Handling fee: £3
Total: £10.93
Total to pay over Paypal: £10.93 x 1.05 = £11.48

Insured postage to US, Canada:
Chip: £4.19 x 1.175 (VAT) = £4.93
Postage: £7
Handling fee: £3
Total: £14.93
Total to pay over Paypal: £14.93 x 1.05 = £15.68

I think I counted right.

I think I counted right.

fantastic!

I'm assuming:

use the paypal address you use for donations.

include in paypal comments:
name
address
order details (part type and shipping method)

..can I roll a little donation in with that as well, or should I keep that separate?
