RHH135 already have, it works great with megadrum. Thanks Andrej for a description of the configuration.

Ok, let's revive this thread. I've recently ordered a Yamaha RHH-135 since I've read that it works on Megadrum.
I've also read that I need to change the tip and ring on my pedal input jack since the yamaha is reversed.
It's been a while since I soldered my Synthex board, but I guess it would be enough to do this tip-ring-switch by changing the caps on the pedal polarity holes on the board? One of the positions below should work or am I wrong?

Wouldn't it be easier to just switch the wires at the input jack? Just a thought - I'd be wary of unsoldering and resoldering stuff on the pcb.
If it ain't broken... fix it until it is.

I though just moving the white caps as seen in the below picture would be the easiest path since it doesn't require any soldering at all. I just wanted to make sure that they really do what I think they do and not something else :)

Ah, ok, you're right. I suppose just testing by moving them when you have the pedal to see what works wouldn't do any harm.

I have my RHH-135 up and running with megaDRUM now. The main problem for me is that I can't play foot chicks consistently. If I play them pretty slow or very light it works somewhat ok, but most of the time the hihat bow note triggers just before the chick note when playing foot chicks. I've tried to tweak the threshold, minscan and retrigger for the hihat bow without much luck. Raising the threshold a lot takes away many of the unwanted bow triggers, but then a lot of hits with the sticks are not triggered making it useless. Are there any trix or setting I can tweak to avoid this. A way to mute that unwanted note just before the chick note? I guess it's hard since it happens before the chick note and not after it? I guess the bow note would have been muted if the bow and chick triggered at the same time or if the bow triggered slightly afterwards, but since the bow note triggers a millisecond before the chick it doesn't mute it?

Here's a screenshot from midiox (Note 42 is hihat bow note and 45 is chick note):

Indeed, I don't see a straight way to filter these bow notes. What about putting some soft material, e.g. felt, between the bottom of the cymbal and the round base under the cymbal?

I had that in mind too, but don't it would be sufficient enough. Are there any way to make the chick trigger earlier so that I can tweak it to happen at the same time as the bow note?
Or some kind of heuristic/code that senses(watches the cc-data) that the pedal is moving from top to bottom and that no hits are made between a certain amount of cc-distance then no bow hit is allowed close to the chick trigger area (hmm I totally understand if you don't follow my explanation :) ).

What about raising the pedal's low level parameter slightly?

But did you try it?

It can possibly make chick triggering before the bow.
