Crystals are very easy to find in any store with electronic parts. And it's very cheap too (less than a euro).

I haven't been on this forum for a while since my megadrum has been functioning perfectly since early 2009. I'm visiting since I was thinking of updating for new features and I see that now we need an updated bootloader to load new firmware. I would be interested in buying the remaining 2 needed to fill this bulk order if it is still available. The problem is that I have a v2.8 kit from Synthex, and I'm not sure which version of the Atmega that I need or have currently. I think I read that what I bought originally is now out of date? What else do I need to change to get this new Atmega? If you all can help me get up to speed, I'd be happy to buy these. I'd like to keep one as a spare, just in case, hence the need for two. I'm located in Denver, CO USA.

Edit: Did some reading and it appears that I only need the 20MHz crystal correct? I found one in my box of leftover stuff from the v2.8 kit, along with two spare Atmega32-16 chips.

So, I'm in for 2 644's!
