Atmega bulk order v5?

I was away on a project, but i back again.
I receive the chips, but I don´t do enything with it allready.
How do I know the frequency os the cristal I got to buy? On the atmel chip specification?
Did you program the chip for 56 inputs? ..or it´s the same and only changes the PCB? I got to take a look at the PCB to see if there´s some changes.

Sorry If my questions was a little stupid, but I´m trying to get on focus with it.

All Atmega644 come loaded with a 56 inputs 20MHz firmware version but you can load any other version matching your build.
