Whether it is necessary to expose with the new software a tag on BootLock11 at programming? And, if Mega 32 it is stitched for the first time, whether it is necessary to enter " F0 7F 41 F7 ", or it concerns only to earlier stitched AVR?
Thanks.

I hope elrules will add support for this bootloader feature in a new version of MCT.

elrules, could you add this feature in a new version of MCT ?

Hello, sorry for my English.
I've completed the outline of Syntex. The computer recognizes the usb good. This loaded the bootloader in atmega32 20MHz. When I go to load the firmware using configuration tool, the steps and I still see the lcd (send SysEx), but gives me error and not send anything. Did that may be due?
Thanks

Sorry, the problem was a bad program fuse in atmega32.
Thanks.

I slightly modified the bootloader to help in troubleshooting. In this version when you enter the bootloader with the pressed key LEFT on power up, the MIDI LED keeps flashing several times a second while you keep the key LEFT pressed:
MegaDrum_bootloader.zip

The source code:
BootloaderSysex.zip

hi... i am having a really hard time writing the bootloader, i cant figure out what the problem it. it is getting very very frustrating.

Using ponyprog i write the bootloader. i get a message box saying "write successful". i set the fuses properly. i see the message on the lcd "fw updater 16MHz clock-up.down-ok". Now, here is the problem, when i remove the isp serial cable and usb and just plug the usb back in, i see only black boxes on the first row. i really dont know whats wrong :(
I have tried leaving the isp cable plugged in and then power MD, it shows "fw updater 16MHz clock-up.down-ok" but i cant change the clock settings using the keyboard. Yes, the keyboard connections are fine, i have checked it many times (can provide an experimental proof if you ask for it).

someone please help!!!!. i have posted this issue several times all over the forum (i apologize for this annoyance) but not getting any proper response.

You need to boot MD with left key pressed - then you should see the FW update display.
If it ain't broken... fix it until it is.
