I can't test my IC right now but I guess there should be some considerable resistance between pins 19 and 20. I think your IC is already burnt.

Hi,
I have a little problem with the generic driver.
In fact, the first time I connect Megadrum, windows detects it as an Audio device and installs the driver, but I can't see the new midi device in megadrum monitor or other midi softwares.
I try to restart my computer, re-install the driver manually, find another version of the driver but it doesn't work...
It perfectly works using the MIDI out but I'd like to use USB...

any idea? :(

In the Device Manager can you see any non-funcional/unknown devices? Can you list all the devices in the Device Manager under 'Sound, video and game controllers'? In the Control Panel->Sounds and Audio Devices Properties->Audio can you list all available options in the last combobox (Midi music playback)?

Do you have MIDI-OX installed? Can do a screenshot of "Options->MIDI Devices" in MIDI-OX?

Can you try to plug into another USB port. It should install drivers again when it's plugged into a USB port for the first time.

I already try to change of USB port...
Same problem again...

I will try to plug megadrum to another computer to be sure that is a problem with my computer.
