Willl this Display work? This one has an option to connect only 14 wires but the one in the circuit has 16. :roll:

Found the answer.. will need to check if this works though ;) . "Dont connect pin 15 qand pin 16 from the Megadrum board"

Right, that LCD doesn't have backlighting. pin 15 and 16 are for the backlight led power.

I had a similar display to that one and it also had 14 pins, but I found that the missing 2 pins were those pads on the left, as shown here:

It's worth a try anyway, because a display without a backlight is a bit hard on your eyes...

It did not work.. I guess it is not a backlit display. Will purchase a backlit one soon. Thanks anyway
