Mounting the presold megadrum

Postby kpthunder » Thu Apr 07, 2011 2:00 am

How does everybody here mount their megadrum module to their drum rack (assuming a TD-20 style setup) / where else would you recommend I put the module? Is there any hardware that would let me mount a small rack for holding audio components such as megadrum on a drum rack?

That last question made me think of a third --
Let's say I wanted to build a really big drum kit. Can I use two or more megadrums at the same time through midi over usb? (I thought of that question because I just thought of mounting multiple megadrums in a stack on my drum rack).

You can daisy chain several MegaDrum modules over standard MIDI ports and then control all of them from a PC through a single USB connection on of the last module in the chain.

That sounds really sweet. Are there any ways to mount it on a drum rack like the td-20 or would it be better off on a table or audio equipment rack?

HERE is what ion uses to mount theirs. I think something like this could be fabricated to hold multiple units.
