Alternating Notes

Hi,
from yesterday on I am using firmware 20110410 in a 'virtual setup scenario':

Connected two piezo laying right in front of me on the desktop, soldered properly and both working.
They are connected to cannel 54 and 55 via a Y-cable aiming to trigger two physical analog kicks with DDT triggers only for rehearsal,
rest of the Kit is supposed to be analog.

I chose the channels at the end to later be able to use those two kicks and an A-to-E converted Kit simultaneously.

Default name of the channels is Aux 19H and Aux 19R.
To set up the trigger behavior of the two DDT equipped kick drums I prefer to be able to look at both
parameter charts in MDM simultaneously.

When the two channels have been setup to my needs via MDM everything works fine, Aux 19H is mapped to note 63 D#4 and Aux 19R is mapped to 64 E 4, the
pressroll and alternate checkboxes are selected to disable.

Hitting on the Piezo connected to Aux19H it shows a blue bar in midi log and a green one when I hit the piezo connected to channel Aux19R.
Now in the Megadrum Module I navigate to save the settings to slot 1, also the drum map slot 1, auto load config yes.

Powering off and back on, the Module forgot about disabeling alternating notes on channel Aux19R and brings up a blue bar every second hit.
When I click Get All in MDM, channel 19R shows Alt Note and Pressroll checkbox selected/disabeled but changes the Note in those two windows
grayed out, to Note 63 D#4.

Midi Log only shows green bars, also for 63 D#4 on channel Aux 19H, green bars alternating Note 63 D#4 and 64 E 4.

Navigating aaaall the way through the menu on the Megadrum Module itself and changing the described values to what I want them to be
is forgotten on the next boot nevertheless.

What am I doing wrong?

It's a bug. I'm looking into it right now.

Cool!
I'll test tonight.
Thanks.

By the way:

In the screenshots of the MDM on Mac OsX you can see the number fields for the notes are too narrow to display both numbers.

:( still not working properly.

Updated to Firmware 20110410 successfully,
received latest MDM,
run it,
detect MegaDrum Module,

set midi Notes to default Superior Drummer Kicks:
C1 and B0 (Numbers 35 and 36 as shown in MDM Midi Log)

Save to slot 1,
power off MegaDrum Module,
power on,
alternating between 35 and 63 or hitting the other piezo 36 and 63.

press 'get' in MDM (during live update selected) shows alt note grayed out 63 check box selected.
Unchecking and checking again results in desired behavior: link to note

Damn!

I picked the wrong firmware bin (20110410).
Now, after updating to the right firmware everything is working fine!

Thanks for your quick help and
sorry for the confusion.

I've just updated MDM. You can now choose different LookAndFeel's in Options. Some of them might look/behave better than the default Mac OS X LookAndFeel.

I like Nimbus.
Readable, yet simple.

thanks for pointing me to it.
