Forgive me if this question has been raised on this forum before. Is it possible to modify the Megadrum to send out of a standard 5 pin DIN instead of a USB?

No need for modifications, the MD can handle Midi in/out over 5 pin DIN by design.

I thought the current DINs were only for sending and receiving patch dumps? The megadrum I currently have built I only have the USB so I can't test it- does the midi out via DIN as it is now actually send the regular messages as well?
