A little doubt about PCB

Hi, I'm new to this world of electronics and I want know a thing... looking at the analogue board - brd PDF file downloaded from this site, i am wondering where to solder the components: right on top of the PCB or on the back side, by doing holes to atatch the IC's. I can't understand the orientation of the IC's to figure that out by myself. Thanks for the help.

If the copper is the bottom side of the PCB than the components are mounted from the top through the holes.

The inputs for the pads are audio jacks. Is there a schematics showing how to conect the piezo sensors to the input jacks?

Judging from the question, I suspect you might have a lot of troubles dealing with DIY electronics. One wire of a piezo goes to ground (sleeve) and another to a an input (tip or ring).

Sorry, but yes, I have problems with DIY, most because my english is not good (I'm brazilian), but a simple piezo is easy to identify the wires. I noticed that you used STEREO JACKS for the inputs channels. So do I have to put 2 piezo sensor per pad?
I have a "Rubber Drum", it consists of some rubber pads on a drum rack. I want to build megadrum, and then I will have to buy the piezo sensors, put them into the rubber pads and connect them into the megadrum input jacks. This is the missing part: To connect one piezo sensor for TOM 1 into a STEREO jack. In case of Snare, one piezo for the head, another for the rim, I could understand why to use stereo jacks, but in case of Tom pads, crash cymbals, I will use just one piezo, needing just a mono jack! Where do I solder the piezo positive wire? In the tip pin or in ring pin? (the sleeve pin is for ground, of course)

Nobody forces you to use stereo jacks. You can use mono jacks and connect one piezo to one jack.

On a stereo jack you can connect to either tip or ring.
