Updated Component List

Postby spugnoid » Mon Mar 24, 2008 12:10 am

Just wondering if someone can point me to the updated component list mentioned in another post recently. I have a list but it doesn't specify which type of capacitor each one should be, nor the inductor or a few other parts. I ordered a kit but would like to put in my order for the remaining parts so I can tear into it as soon as it arrives.

Thanks,

Rod.

Just wondering if this inductor is acceptable or not.

Hi Synthex, where is version 2.4? I have seen in the "kit with 74H's" thread that I can download 2.3 version, and in the doublelayer new one the 2.7, but... where is 2.4??

The version 2.4 is the same as the version 2.3.

The version 2.3 is the name of the PCB in download.
The version 2.4 is the name of the PCB I sell.

On the 32 input header, what is the order of pins?

21..................40
01..................20

or

02 04 06...........40
01 03 05...........39

or something else?

I'm laying out a circuit board to wire the input jacks to just to keep things neater and I wasn't sure how to connect the pins.

Thanks,

Rod.

This is :
02 04 06...........40
01 03 05...........39

The rectangular pad is always the pin 1.

I'm looking for places where I can find the 18F2550 USB thingy, and I found a site that I can get them from, but I don't know which ones I should be getting http://sample.microchip.com/Default.asp ... PIC18F2550
Should I get the PIC18F2550-I/SO or the PIC18F2550-I/SP

Also, (newbie question ahead) am I right in assuming that all I need to do to program this ic for the USB is fully assemble everything on your pcb, plug it in to my computer, and then flash it with the firmware you have available for download? What program do I use for this?

You need the PIC18F2550-I/SP.
You need to plug the ICSP connector to program the IC.
