Input requirements question

So, Megadrum can assign all zones for dual-zone and 3-zone pads internally, and uses only one jack on the back of the module for each pad----is this right? If so, this means I could have five 3-zone cymbals and take up only 5 inputs on the back of the Megadrum module....right? Thanks....

Only if these 3-zone cymbals are Yamaha style than yes, one stereo jack per a cymbal on the back of the module. Roland style 3-zone cymbals take 2 stereo jacks per a cymbal.
