mega drum for use in electronic marimba (pads)

I'm wanting to set up a 56 megadrum inputs for me to also utilize a marimba with keys made of rubber pads ( intend to use piezo eletric or resistor). My doubt is I can adapt to the mega drum that was originally built for drums ... I wonder if you could build or adapt the mega drum for me to use my mallet? since my marimba notes will be 76 - of A -1 to C 5- 6 octaves and a third. How to solve the programming problem of the plate to adjust the piano roll etc..? it is possible to adapt the board of the mega drum in my mallet keyboard? Tank you!
