Megadrum with 3-zone TCS Pads

Hi folks

I've read through a lot of the forum content here (which is staggering and impressive to say the least) but I am still unsure about something. I was wondering if TCS Yamaha pads will work to the same effect as Rubber/Mesh pads with Megadrum? From what I understand already the pads do not work with non-yamaha modules, and I haven't noticed any megadrum compatibility either. Does anyone know the answer or has anyone tried it? :D

I've tested MegaDrum with XP120SD, http://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/musica ... mode=model, and it works fine with all 3 zones. Note that the rotary controller on the pad won't do anything.

Superb, this information has made me very happy indeed! I hope you don't mind me asking a couple other things...

A)Do the 3-zone tom inputs work in the same way as the 3-zone yammie cymbals? That is, can i plug it in 1 input and be done, or do I need to do some electrical/soldering stuff before hand?

B)Lastly, I now know tha pad works but could you mention whether or not the pad performed as well as you would expect with regards to dynamics and sensitivity etc compared to it's rubber/mesh counterparts? I just want to be sure ;)

XP120SD uses one stereo jack for 3 zones. I believe all Yanaha 3 zone pads/cymbals use one stereo jack. No soldering is required.

When I tested it, it triggered perfectly well. About the feel I cannot tell much. It is definitely better than regular rubber pads. In comparison to mesh pads it is a matter of taste.
