hi,

have read the Manual, but have still two questions:
if i Change the Setting "gain" for my Switch Input, it works like gain for my piezo Input?! ...

have the Problem on my yamaha style ride, that if i reduce the gain (0) for both piezo/Switch on my ride, because its too hot, i cant seperate the third Zone correctly anymore. if i hit the bell, the rim sometimes/often Triggers. but if i set the gain for bow to 0 and let the gain for Switch like it is, at 4, everything works perefekt.

the treshhold for the Switch Input sets:
bewlow this Setting my hits are registered as hits or as touches?

The Gain on the Switch doesn't play part in the piezo signal level detection. You really shouldn't lower it, in fact you may need to increase it to improve reliability of rim and bell switches make/break detection.

If the level on the switch input is below Threshold then MegaDrum registers hits as Rim/Edge hits if there is a head/bow piezo signal present at the same time and as touches if there is no signal on a head/bow.
