Hello,

Can anabody tell me how I must connect the LCD. On mine PCB I have 16 inputs and at the LCD 14 inputs how do I connect this?

I want to program mine PIC18F2550 do I need the ICSP cable or can I do this with the isp cable also. If I need the ICSP cable does Anyone have a schematic or something so I can make this?

Greeting Gilles

connect pins 1-14, as 15-16 are backlight which I think your LCD doesn't have

Look at your LCD datasheet and compare with the LCD connector pinouts.

You need an ISCP cable for the PIC18F2550. This is not the same as the Atmega.

Oke thank you for the information so far. I have one more question about the ICSP cable. Is the DB socket a female or a mail connector?

For DB9 socket, you need a female connector.
For DB25 socket, you need a male connector.
