Unless it has completely different design principles from all other HiHat pedals (branded and DIY) I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work with MegaDrum.

The hihat and other cymbal pad are piezo switch, like Roland, i think works fine with MD.

My only doubt is on the HiHat controller, i don't know the schematic

Their hh controller is based on the hall effect sensor, so it should work.

No, It won't work at all since it has only one output jack for both the controller and the dual zone cymbal, it has a special functionning that is explained here on the 2 box forum : http://www.2box-forum.com/index.php?topic=973.msg10186#msg10186.
Maybe if you try to separate the controller output from the cymbal output you could get it to work but is it worth ? Not sure
