Very low trigger register even on bare piezo

So basically I am so close to getting the last of my megadrum done. Some if the inputs left to do but that's it really. So as I am close to being done I have plugged a piezo onto the inputs one by one to check there is signal going through. However. When I tap the bare piezo either nothing or very low signal registers. I have yet to get all my inputs soldered up but wanted to check them as I went along. The first one was the snare. I soldered the piezo to the tip and sleeve of a jack and plugged it in. When I tap the bare piezo , some cases pretty hard. I get a signal but isn't very sensative in the slightest.

Is it just a case if changing the settings to make it more sensative?
Any ideas here would be great.

Marc

Tapping a bare piezo should give a fairly high signal. I would suggest posting the settings, assuming you haven't got the note disabled.

The settings are literally as they on when first made. Haven't changed any if the settings. Do you know how to reset any settings and put back to default just in case when scrolling through the menu I have changed something by accident

Thanks
Marc

Are you using MDM? If not then just scroll through till you get to the relevant channel and make sure its not showing note 0.

is there a way to reset all settings just on the megadrum, also would the fact that i havent soldered all my inputs yet be making a contribution towards this problem, for example, the grounds?

You're asking the same question. Did you read about AutoLoad Config?

When set to Yes, MegaDrum will automatically load last saved/loaded config and drum map upon powering up. You can by pass auto loading config even if you set it to Yes by hold the key RIGHT while switching MegaDrum on. It will then load default settings.

Where did you see 0 or 1 in there? What is not clear about this function? Maybe it should be re-phrased? Can you suggest a different description?
