When you say random triggering is it:
1. Double triggering?
2. False crosstalk triggering?
3. Something triggering when you don't hit anything?
4. What has changed between viewtopic.php?p=20865#p20865 and now?

dont hit anything but md is triggering. at night everything seems to be ok. no triggering anyway. but at day, especially from 8am till 12am its horrible.

It suggests to me that something nearby which works only during day time gives a lot of electromagnetic interference.

Maybe some kind of shielding like copper sheet like used in guitar cavities?

to shield the megadrum ist not so easy as i thought!! shielding something is whole sience! not only put a plate inside and soldering it to ground... thats more difficult...

...for now, have managed it so, that with an uneven nr. nothing kicks out. theres nothing to see... but if i let md Manager a couple of minutes on to see the midi log from time to time md Triggers some pad and even with max hits !! whats that? why?

I think shielding MegaDrum module itself won't help. The pads/cymbals themselves serve as antennas for electromagnetic noise. You can test this theory by disconnecting all pads/cymbals from the module and watching for false triggering.

your right, but the cables are shielded, so i have soldered the whole pad - line inside md to ground with very good result. maybe the + line from the usb cable works as a antenna in my case. have to look for a solution. write back if made something that works.

edit:

i remember that the Alesis Trigger io had the same Problem, but only if the usb cable was pluged in.
