I can't seem to make this work. Does it trigger under a certain velocity or at a point between threshold and high level?

cheers

To my knowledge…it triggers if you do a fast roll…e.g. many fast hits on one drum. The time for determine this is handled by the global press roll time in misc panel in mdm. If you lower the press roll time…and set the press roll midi note value on the actual drum to a another value than the normal note…and do a fast roll…then you should get to trigger.

Pressroll notes are triggered if time interval between hits is shorter than Note Off delay.

Hi!

Is there any science behind how long a the note off delay should be? All MD has a default setting of this value to 200.
I have set the press roll delay to 100...

Best Regards

I don't think there is any standard for a note off delay for percussion sounds.

I'm being inquisitive here, but what different sort of sample would one use at a faster speed?
