I finished building MegaDrum (Atmega 644, 32 inputs) and here is the result.
Thanks to complete and very detailed drawings, schematics, explanations and instructions offered us by Dmitri I succeed to go through building process without having issues.
I can say now that reading with attention all what Dmitri offered us, following the schematics and drawings, reading the specs of components are the real keys for easy building.
I finished the building and I verified the basic functionality. I have now to built the pads and pedals and after to learn to tune up it correctly.
For now I attach some photos of my box:

I can not add the lateral view (MIDI ports) due to limitation to 4 photos per post.
After finishing pads and pedals I shall show here the results.

This looks great! :)

May I ask, where did you get the case?

I bought it from TME
http://www.tme.eu/en/details/cp-15-33/e ... mbiplast/#
Or you can find here
http://www.oemstrade.com/search/CP-15-33/
list of distributors for this case.
The dimensions (X:225mm; Y:199mm; Z:72mm), as you can see, are exactly for MegaDrum.
The case came in natural color (beige). I thought that beige is not at all suitable for the purpose so I spray painted in black. I think is looking better.
Greetings,,

Neat. As a matter of interest why is aux 7 not after aux 6?

I was expecting to be asked. :D
Because I made a mistake in input jacks PCB and after correction I did not want to pay for a new PCB.
Is remarkable that someone looked so attentively.
Regards,

If there is any interest to use this case I can send Kicad files for input sockets PCBs (the corrected ones with Aux 7 after Aux 6).

The front panel was decorated very well. The logo is cool! The backside is also very good.
How did you do it?

I looked on local market for workshops (like this one: http://www.pmgravura.ro/en/gravura_placute.html) making logotypes and civil signaling using ABS (2 mm thickness) covered with brass (I do not know the brass layer thickness).
This is a standard material for making the above objects on CNC engraving machines.
I made the design in CorelDraw. The machine which was there knew to work with CorelDraw files.
As brass tend to fade in time I covered it with spray lacquer for metal (from brico shops).
The holes were done on same CNC engraving machine on the plastic panels as well as on the original front and rear panels of box.
Then the engraved panels were glued on front and back of the box.
This is all.
