I have completed assembling my MD and now I'm starting to test it with a test DIY pad.

I have read that in order to start configuring my pads, following dimitri's steps on tuning mesh pads, I need to know what is my pad highlvl.

To do that I have set AutoHighLvl to yes, so it automatically changes whatever HighLvl is set to 64, and I have set gain to 0. After some strong hits I always get the same 64 for highlvl, no matter how hard I hit, or how many times I hit the pad.

What could be wrong? Or what am I doing wrong to measure it?

Raise the gain to 4 and try.

And make sure you do that with the input where your pad is connected to.
