I had the same problem, took me a while to get it, but I eventually go a few of them by searching for the pin amounts and referencing pictures.

the HE-10 2*20

I won't be including an LCD so the HE-10 2*8 isn't needed for me.

and for the HE-14's I'm getting this and breaking it up into the right lengths

Thank You jamalpiper
HE-10 2*20
Then "HE" stands for Headers
10= pins
2= two sets of pins
*20= total set of pins

OK, now for me to look it up on the internet I do a seach for "plastic thingie with multiple color wirers in it". I keeps taking me to a sex shop.
The resistors and crystal are obvious things I get. I am not to technical on the others.
Thanks

Maybe one of you can supplement Dmitri's thorough component link here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=275 and provide some Digikey, Parts Express, eBay, etc. links for US DIYers.

Yea, I hated looking for those headers. In fact, I need to check if I need to order a couple of them still....
If you find them, post the url on here. :)

This post provides some great references. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=295

I was also confused about which headers / connectors.

These are great as well. http://www.futurlec.com/ConnIDC.shtml
